Christmas with our old Neighbors

Madelyn and I went to a Christmas Party with our old neighbors and dear friends. It was so much fun to see the three one-year-olds playing together.

Holiday Express

We all went to the North Pole on the Holiday Express. It was so much fun. We rode a trolly to the North Pole but since it's a long drive, we read the Polar Express on the way there. When we got there, we got to eat cookies and hot cocoa by the fire, see a real reindeer and search for elves in the forest.  We also got to see Santa who gave Madelyn a silver bell :)  Madelyn still wasn't a fan of Santa.

She found a bag on the ground, put it on her hand, went to the door and said 'poopoos'. She wanted to go pick up Leia's pooh in the yard like we had done earlier that day.

Everyday, she gives Leia her treat and closes the crate. She can even lock it HERSELF! :)

Madelyn helped me collect the trash and then wouldn't stop carrying them around.

She carries this little stool everywhere so she can get to what she wants by herself.

Holiday Magic at the Zoo

We met a bunch of little friends at the Brookfield Zoo to see the lights. Luckily it gets dark early so we headed over around 4:30 and could take in the lights before Madelyn's bed time. It was a nice warm night so of course it was super crowded but it was fun.

Breakfast with Santa

My sister's school puts on a breakfast with Santa event. It's a great event and each kid actually gets a gift from Santa that day! Madelyn enjoyed the food and the snowball game but wasn't a big fan of Santa!
