Madelyn participated in her preschool's school science fair. She did an experiment where she predicted whether or not the material would dissolve (disappear) in water. As you can see from the photos, she had a lot of fun doing this. She correctly predicted that sand would not dissolve and that sugar would but was incorrect when she thought that corn starch would dissolve. Corn starch didn't dissolve but turned into almost silly putty. Madelyn called it toothpaste :)

Allison
had little interest in the science fair but she did manage to climb
onto of the blue tunnel all by herself. Something the kids love being
able to do since the teachers only let them go up on top if they can
climb there themselves.
Madelyn and Allison had their Valentine's party at school. Madelyn and Connor actually showed off their slow dancing!! And Connor (although a little shy at first, had some moves!) Allison even got in the mix at the end. Allison also "sang" a song although I'm not sure she said much of anything. She has still struggled in her transition to this new room but is doing better. The videos are the best and at the end! Connor and Madelyn were dancing in the back corner so it was hard to get them on video.
Madelyn went to her second Daddies, Dance, and Doughnuts and this time Allison got to come along. The girls had so much fun and even made me Valentines that were mailed to me :) Check out Allison's video of her dancing at the end.
All the kids LOVED this. Allison's favorite part was pushing the buttons to make the waterfall turn on, or the Thomas train to go (when it wasn't off the track) or to make the ghosty noise in the haunted house or tree go timber. Connor's favorite train was the passenger train and Madelyn's favorite train was the freight train. They loved watching the salt pearls get dumped from the train into the silo too! Check out a video of the trains at the end. It wasn't too cold so the kids were also able to play in the children's garden too!
It was so much fun to see Connor and Madelyn preform for their Pre-K winter program. Luckily Connor and Madelyn stood next to each other the whole time. I loved their songs and they had so much fun preforming. Enjoy the videos!
Madelyn took a gymnastics class at our local park district. She was lucky to know her neighbor, Peggy, and her friend, Abby, in the class. She had fun but kept saying she liked her gymnastics at Phenom better because they have a foam pit to jump into. Don't miss the video of her doing her jumps, cartwheel and handstands!
