We celebrated our 9th Anniversary a little late but it was still a wonderful night out just the two of us. We went to Naf Naf Grill, one of our favorite restaurants right behind Chipotle. Thanks to Beth and Joe for watching the girls. Here's our annual photo. In a very non-characteristic way, we took a selfie since there was no one else around to take it for us.

6 Years of Wedding Bliss
On May 20, 2012 Brian and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. We had a nice night out at Indian Harvest while Beth and Joe took care of Madelyn. And although it wasn't as nice as our weekend away in Lake Geneva, we were happy to arrive home without an accident. It has been a year since our horrible car accident, and we are so pleased that everything got taken care of. We got our deductible back, all our medical bills were paid for and Brian's car was declared totaled so we didn't have to get it fixed and live with a car that just wasn't the same anymore. Click here for my post on the accident.
We take a photo of us every year on our anniversary and put it in a special anniversary album so we can see how we've changed since we first met. Here's this years photo.

5 Year Anniversary
It's official. We've been married 5 wonderful years!! I've been keeping a photo album with pictures of us on each anniversary. It's been fun looking back at how much we've changed. Here's a photo of us on our wedding day and our 5 year anniversary.
Brian and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary with a long weekend in Lake Geneva. We chose Lake Geneva because we wanted to get away but didn't want to go too far since long car rides are uncomfortable for me this late in pregnancy. Lake Geneva is about a one and half hour drive from our place. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights. We entertained ourselves by reading by the shore and walking about 13 miles on the Lake Shore Path over the course of three days. It was truly a wonderful and relaxing weekend just the two of us. Also our last vacation before baby arrives.
Here are some photos:
Brian wanted to try out his wetsuit since he has a triathlon coming up June 12th. This is the second time he's gone in water with it. The other time was up in Door County. He didn't last too long in the water since it was freezing. He braved it for about 15 minutes but was never able to get his body acclimated. We looked up the temperature of the lake after he got out at it was 53 F in three feet of water. BRRR!!
