Madelyn's Birthday Party

We threw Madelyn a Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday Party.  She always enjoyed the book and it was such a cute easy theme to do.  I put out the food that the caterpillar ate and a few fun caterpillar activities.
The book that inspired it all.

Madelyn's Actual Birthday!

Madelyn turned two. Here are some photos from her actual birthday. We started off with balloons on her floor when she woke up. After that we went to the basement where all her gifts from us were. She loved her trampoline!  It was funny because she had received gifts from her Great-Aunt and Uncle earlier in the week and we had told her they were presents and she had to wait. Well when we said it was time to open presents and showed her ours, she climbed back up stairs and found the ones that had arrived and wanted to open those too!She has a good memory!

Then she went to school bringing fruit snacks and treat bags to celebrate with her friends.  Later that day, Grandpa and Grandma Hartsell as well Madelyn's Great-grandparents arrived.  We celebrated with pizza and a single chocolate chip cookie with candles.  Surprisingly she didn't eat the cookie but she liked blowing out the candles.  Then she opened some gifts from Grandpa and Grandma Hartsell.
