01/03/15: Connor's Birthday Party

12/31/2015 NEW CAR

I forgot to post that we got a new car! December 31st, Brian negotiated a successful trade in of my 2007 Honda Civic to a 2015 Honda Odyssey Van!  When we test drove the van, I was surprised at how awesome it was to drive and how it drove very much like my civic not a truck.  Although I was sad to say good buy to the first car Brian and I ever bought together, I couldn't be more happier with our van. It's so nice to have space and be able to fit all FOUR kiddos in one car!

12/24/14 Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas!  Here are some photos from our Christmas craft where we made hand prints, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Opening up Christmas Presents with the Giese's.

We then headed back to our house since Grandma Giese was sick. We decided to let the kids open their gifts from their Aunts and Uncles and saved the rest for when Grandma was feeling better.

Christmas morning was luckily not too early.  Madelyn went straight for her gifts from Santa!

When she opened up her glasses from Santa, she  pointed to where the lenses would be and said "Santa forgot these!"

Later that day, we called both Aunt Laura and Grandma and Grandpa Hartsell to open their gifts over skype. Madelyn always acts so silly when we are on skype. Allison thought it was neat to see them on the computer but didn't really understand.

About a week later, we had Christmas with the Giese's. Madelyn loved her pretend school from Grandma and Grandpa.
