The Hartsell Family: 1/17/15 Allison's 1!

We can't believe our little Allison is one. Here's our fun memories to remember plus her growth stats from one year:

Allison's been pointing to her bed to say she is ready to go to sleep which breaks my heart a little since that means she is done cuddling.
She loves to pull on strings like her fan or light or her closet string. She also loves to touch anything that is hanging which is why we hung stars all over our house for her birthday and haven't taken them down. Luckily Brian can normally get to to reach everything.
She loves to eat her socks and is very talented at getting them off her feet no matter how high we pull them up!
As soon as she sees mommy, she wants me to hold her even if she is happy with someone else.
She likes turning off lights and turns it off while in the bathroom even before I have dried her hands!
She is pointing to all things and can even communicate a little.
She says "hi" and "all done" in come contexts.
She's our little daredevil climbing on everything and having no fear!
She is great on the stairs and rarely needs reminders to go down feet first except for the first and last stair on the basement stairs since they are not straight down but sideways.
She crawls while holding things in her mouth and hands.
She started sleeping with a blanket at 11 months
She seems to be a worse teether than Madelyn although she almost always has her thumb in her mouth but no teeth appeared so we are not sure why she started waking up at night. Maybe they hurt while moving underneath.
Allison can now open her bedroom door if it is open just a crack.
She has made us laugh by constantly making noise with her lips by running her finger over the up and down. We have no idea where she learned it but so glad she shared it.
She likes to push my head to the side while nursing so that she can get a hold of my hair. She and Madelyn both fine comfort holding my hair.
She loves when we play peek-a-boo with her and has the best giggles!
Allison picks up hair and lint and holds in her in hand like it's something special which reminds us to vacuum more!
She loves toothbrushes and shoes. They are her favorite things to crawl and find and then put in her mouth. She likes toothbrushes so much I had to put some of her toothbrushes in our bathroom since she always wanted to ours in her mouth. She still would prefer ours so I have to hide them so her's are the only option in our toothbrush holder.
Allison has lots of boys who love her at school unfortunately this means she's had way to many bites and scratches to keep count.
