3/31/16: Science & Industry Museum (Spring Break)

We have been making good use of our membership and went with the Filapeks and Haynes over Spring Break. This time we made sure to go to the LEGO exhibit which celebrates the power of creation. The girls loved the pulley chairs which allowed them to pull themselves up them self.  The adults loved seeing the intricate construction of the lego models and the kids loved building their own impressive creations.

Allison was very particular on which one she would use (the red one)

Madelyn was very proud of her creation

3/27/16: Easter

We had a great Easter.  I love seeing how excited the girls are to find eggs. They weren't that excited to find their Easter baskets even when there was a treasure hunt with clues to find them. They happened to be in the garage this year.

We dyed eggs for the first time this year! It was a hit.

Easter Egg hunt!! This year the girls each had eggs to find. Madelyn's were marked with a certain sticker and Allison's were marked with a different sticker. Madelyn didn't like that she kept finding Allison's eggs but Allison was pretty excited that she had eggs to find herself.

Checking to see who's egg it was.

Allison was in high fashion by the time the egg hunt was nearing an end.

Easter Baskets in the garage!

Madelyn's favorite from her baskets was her Pez.

Allison gave her bunny some fruit snacks too. What a good sharer1

Leave it to Allison to be silly!

Allison treated her eggs like babies. Here they are sleeping nicely in cradles :)

3/19/16: Egg Thing

We had a great time at our church's annual "Egg Thing." Allison was scared but intrigued by the Easter Bunny wanting to know where he was at all times but not wanting to be near him either. Thanks to Aunt Beth for the Madelyn egg hunt photos. Allison and Madelyn went out at different times since they split them by ages.

Waving to the Easter Bunny from a safe distance

Bubbles fun!
