11/08/14: Juliana's Frozen Party

Madelyn had been looking forward to attending Juliana's Frozen birthday party for weeks.  She even had her clothes laid out for days. The strange thing is that she told me she had frozen everything even underwear and I said no you don't (I had not bought her any) but sure enough she was a right and I still have NO IDEA where it came from!!

She had a blast at Juliana's birthday party even though she was the littlest girl, that didn't bother her. She was so excited to see Elsa and even participated in the telling of the story but said that Elsa had "blue power" for some reason!

11/06/14: Madelyn the swimmer

Madelyn is doing a great job at swim lessons.  She likes going which we are grateful for and works really hard. She even practices a lot of the techniques in the bath tub herself or has baby baby do it. It's so cute.

Halloween FUN!

The whole month of October we celebrated Halloween. Here's what we did:

When we got out the Halloween decorations, Madelyn enjoyed trying out the headbands from Aunt Laura.

We went to Abbey Farms again this year. It was cold but the kids still had a lot of fun.  Their favorites were wandering through the corn maze, the zip line and the hill slides.

Trying out their costumes. I stuffed Allison into Madelyn's old costume which was a tight fit since it was 0-6 months old but still super cute! Allison was a butterfly and Madelyn was Super Girl although she always called herself Super Man.

We did our annual Trick or Treating at Safety Town.  We went with Tommy and Danny and were sad that Eliza couldn't go this year.  We ran into Connor and Aunt Beth when we were there.

 I was so lucky to be able to help out at Madelyn and Connor's Halloween party at school.

Then we headed to our neighborhood costume party. Even Brian and I dressed up, as a doctor and a nerd, respectively. We didn't stay too long but even then Allison still tuckered out on us.
