4/1/15 Hiking and Picnic

Brian took a day off too during Spring break and we packed a picnic and road over to Patterson Lake. Allison and Madelyn had fun riding in the bike carrier together for the first time but Allison wouldn't keep her helmet on!  We hiked around in the forest next to the lake and then ate some lunch. After lunch we all climbed the big hill.

3/31/15 Butterfly Garden

I took the week off that Beth and Juliana had Spring break so we had lots of fun doing activities with them. Our favorite was going to the Peggy Norton Nature Museum in Chicago. Grandma joined us making for a van full of 7 people!  Madelyn was a little afraid of the butterfly garden the first time we went in but when we went back in for the butterfly release at 2 pm, she went up front to watch!

2/28/15 Fun at the Mall

We took the kiddos to the mall and they had a blast. The Dupage Children's Museum was flooded in January so they opened up a small satellite one in our local mall.  We played there for awhile and then headed to the food court from some lunch and a ride on the carousel. After that we took a ride on the trackless train. It was kind of expensive but I'm glad we did it since all the kiddos loved it!

February SNOW

We had some snow fall in February and the girls loved it. Madelyn was excited to make a snowman because we had read the Sadie and the Snowman book recently. She also loved making snow angels.
