10/12/15: Science and Industry Museum

The Filapeks were heading to the Science and Industry Museum and suggested we get the year long membership groupon and come along too. Grandpa and Grandma Giese also came along. It was a great day, and we were happy that Brian could come along since it had been years since he'd been there. The kids loved the mirror maze although we did get a little lost and had to have Brian (who could easily tell which was an image and which was real) rescue us. They also loved the weather area, and of course the Idea Factory. Allison loved watching the baby chicks. Allison also grossed some people out by pulling her poop out of her diaper while waiting in line for the Combine.  Connor lucked out and got to take her place in line when Brian took her away to get her all cleaned up! It's always an adventure with kids.

10/10/15: Keller's Farm with Friends

We went back to our favorite place Keller's Farm this fall. We met up with old friends from the infant massage class I took so many years ago with Madelyn.

10/3/15: Daddy-Daughter Princess Pancake Breakfast

Madelyn and Brian went to the Daddy-Daughter Princess Pancake Breakfast for the second time and were so happy to have our neighbor, Etta and her daddy go with them.  Next year Allison can go too! Madelyn dressed up as Elsa this year and loved the crafts and games at the event.

9/26/15: Camping

We had wanted to get another camping trip in so we went to Blackwell again. Brian and Madelyn had camped her last year but this time Allison and I stayed the night too.  We set up camp and had dinner and then Brian and Madelyn went on a night hike to look for owls.  Brian and I didn't sleep much but the girls did fairly well.  Allison did not last in the pack and play though so she slept right by my side.  We had breakfast and then packed up and went for a hike in another part of the reserve where we also had a picnic lunch. Then it was time to head home.
